Proposed Lab Changes:
- Pre-lab activity: tune via simulation and eigenvalue analysis
- Perform eigenvalue analysis for naive PI and bumpless PI controllers (adapt from website) using values
- Students verify gains with simulation
- Verify two points from your pre-lab activity. Do they work well? Optionally fine-tune your controller.
- Perform dark chocolate experiment.
- Calculate MAE and MSE for the dark chocolate experiment
- Deemphasize bumpless PI in this lab? Need to figure out how to fit this into the lecture schedule.
Proposed Website Changes:
- Add eigenvalue analysis for bumpless PI controller
- Add tuning PI controller via simulation (perhaps to eigenvalue webpages)
