Convert French audios into live transcripts with translation and higlighting of words.
As learner of the French language, I was looking for an enjoyable platform or app where I can access all the resources I need to understand French audios.
As Eclair user, I wanted to:
- Follow speakers in the audios without getting lost in the middle.
- With a single click I can translate words and phrases without jumping to a dictionary.
- Easily replay phrases.
- Keep record of the interesting words and phrases I can reuse in real life.
That was my motivation behind Eclair. And for sure, I wanted a playground to try the frameworks and tools I want to try ;-)
- Apache Airflow: orchestration of audio files processing.
- SvelteKit: the frontend and webcomponent.
- Rust axum: backend API.
- Opentofu: infra management.
