In order to create an open and tolerant environment, we, as contributors and maintainers, pledge that participation in our project will be a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, size, disability, ethnicity, gender characteristics, gender identity and expression, experience level, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion or sexual identity and orientation.
Examples of behaviors that contribute to creating a positive environment:
- Using tolerant and inclusive language
- Being respectful of different views and experiences
- Accepting constructive criticism graciously
- Focus on what is best for the community
- Showing empathy for other community members
Examples of unacceptable behavior:
- Use of sexualized language or imagery and unwanted sexual attention or advances
- Trolling, insulting/defamatory comments and personal or political attacks
- Public or private harassment
- Publishing the private information of others, such as physical or electronic addresses, without explicit permission
- Other behaviors that cannot be considered reasonable in a professional environment
Project maintainers are responsible for explaining acceptable standards of behavior and taking appropriate and fair corrective action against unacceptable behavior.
Project maintainers have the right and responsibility to remove, edit or reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues and other contributions that do not comply with this Code of Conduct, or to temporarily or permanently ban contributors who exhibit inappropriate, threatening, offensive or harmful behavior.
This Code of Conduct applies in project spaces and public areas when a person represents the project or community. Examples of representing the project or community include using the official project email address, posting on the official social media account, or acting as an appointed representative at an online or offline event.
Instances of harassing, disruptive or otherwise unacceptable behavior can be reported by contacting the project team. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated and will be responded to as appropriate to the situation. The project team is obliged to maintain the confidentiality of the person reporting the incident.
Project maintainers who fail to follow or enforce the Code of Conduct in good faith may face temporary or permanent consequences at the discretion of other members of the project leadership.
