npx worker-functions hangs

On my linux machine after following the readme instructions when I run npx worker-functions that just hangs indefinitely 😢

ah ok I think it can't be used globally?

So I got it working by creating a new worker with wrangler init and initializing a package.json as well, then after that all worked ok (by installing the package locally)

But this unfortunately caused me to have both a wrangler.toml and a wrangler.json

I also tried with just npm init a brand new project and then npx worker-functions but that just generated the wrangler.json file, I then run wrangler init and I got back to having both wrangler.toml and wrangler.json 😢

I'm just wondering what's the best way to start a new project from scratch with the intention of using the package 🙂

(PS: the way I was expecting it to work is that npx worker-functions would call/integrate wrangler and produce a wrangler worker with also the worker-functions, would that not be possible?)

Thanks for going through the flow with us. I think we'll definitely need to update the README to make it clearer.

I think when me and @penalosa were envisioning the library, we assumed that people would have a frontend framework of choice and so they'd already have a package.json file. Maybe we need an npx create-worker-functions-project to bootstrap a fresh new project with everything setup 🤔

@penalosa, what do you think?
