What parts of Modrinth is your feature request related too?

Modrinth.com website, Modrinth API for developers, Modrinth App

Is your suggested feature related to a problem? Please describe.

Modpack creators using the Modrinth app currently have to manually import their modpacks, which can be inconvenient.

Describe the solution you'd like

it would be much more efficient to have a built-in feature where an instance can be directly linked (while online) to a modpack hosted on the creator’s Modrinth profile.

Describe alternatives you've considered

A more advanced approach would be some kind of cloud syncing, where your instance is tied to your account and updates automatically between the app and the website. That would make it feel more like a live project instead of something you constantly export and import. Going even further, something like version control could track changes over time, letting you roll back or compare updates, which would be especially useful for bigger or team-based modpacks.

Additional context

With this system, the app could automatically sync and update the modpack without requiring repeated imports. Creators would also be able to manage and edit their modpacks more easily through the Modrinth website, with changes reflected directly in the app.

Additionally, it would be useful to have an option to choose which mods are included or excluded from the public modpack profile, giving creators more control over what gets published.
