This issue tracks the verification of the inventory of currently maintained (non-archived) reference MCP servers in this repository.

Verification scope:

• Count of active reference servers listed in the README
• Names of each active reference server
• Confirmation that corresponding source directories exist

Findings to be documented in comments.

Verified Reference Server Inventory

Based on cross-referencing the README documentation with the source tree:

Verified Count: 7 active reference MCP servers

Active Reference Servers:

1. Everything (src/everything) - Reference/test server with prompts, resources, and tools
2. Fetch (src/fetch) - Web content fetching and conversion
3. Filesystem (src/filesystem) - Secure file operations with configurable access controls
4. Git (src/git) - Tools to read, search, and manipulate Git repositories
5. Memory (src/memory) - Knowledge graph-based persistent memory system
6. Sequential Thinking (src/sequentialthinking) - Dynamic and reflective problem-solving
7. Time (src/time) - Time and timezone conversion capabilities

Verification Evidence:

• README lists exactly 7 non-archived reference servers under the "Reference Servers" section
• 13 servers are listed under "Archived" and moved to servers-archived repository
• Confirmed src/everything exists: package.json shows name @modelcontextprotocol/server-everything, version 2.0.0, using @modelcontextprotocol/sdk ^1.29.0
• 10 MCP SDKs are listed in the README (C#, Go, Java, Kotlin, PHP, Python, Ruby, Rust, Swift, TypeScript)
