Feature Request: qt6

Greetings. Amazing project!

I did have to install qttools5-dev again (on Debian). I'd love to see the Speech Note migrate to QT6 some day!

Yes, migration to Qt6 is top priority. We have qt6 branch. There's still some work to be done, but at the moment I'm planning to support Qt6 in the next version of Speech Note.

I see that you're still planning on supporting building with Qt5. Honestly there's little value in that now, Qt5 is now almost a full year past the EOL and Linux distributions are in the process of removing the few remaining Qt5 straggler apps from their repositories so they can rip Qt5 out completely (some have already done this). You'd be much better off just ripping out all of the Qt5 code and supporting Qt6 only.

I agree, but... There is also Sailfish OS Port and, at the moment, SFOS is stuck at Qt5. Qt6 is not even on a horizon yet. That is a major reason why Qt5 (at least in C++ code) is still needed.

But this is not a blocker. Thanks to Hugo's great work here, backward compatibility has already been implemented. What's still missing is cleanup and Flatpak packaging.
