Perforce doesn't show the diff when doing diff with particular revision of file

Describe the bug:

From the bottom panel, when i do diffrevision and give a particular revision number, it is not showing the diff. Instead on both sides of the diff view, there are revisions of latest file.

I've tried to do this diff in multiple ways, but none of them work.

1. From the bottom p4 panel, I've gone to history for particular changelist revision and tried to do diff (doesn't work)
2. from the scm, i've entered the changelist number and did the diff (doesn't work)

Expected behavior:

1. The Perforce should've shown the diff with specific revision and latest revision. Instead it's showing latest revisions on both sides
