transactional = true fails

I get this error while trying to use a transactionnal table.

FAILED: Execution Error, return code 1 from org.apache.hadoop.hive.ql.exec.DDLTask. MetaException(message:The table must be bucketed and stored using an ACID compliant format (such as ORC)

This project has contributed to the hive handler(storage handler) of Apache Phoenix.
Although the handler for Phoenix does not have support for transactional, you can similarly use it if you create a transactional table in Phoenix and then use it as an external table in the hive.

If you have any reason to use the project here, you need a more detailed message about the reason and the error content.

I thought your project was the one implemented in apache phoenix. I will give a try to the approach you mention.
