Can't Use PBR Resource Packs in the Deferred Technical Preview

In version 1.20.80.23 of Minecraft Beta on my M1 Mac mini, after creating a new world and enabling the 'RenderDragon Features for Creators' option in the experimental section, when I try to enable a Deferred-compatable PBR resource pack (Like Prizma Deferred for example), I get this error: resourcePack.incompatable.graphics.pbr and the 'Deferred Technical Preview' option is disabled in the video settings.
