Edit is not working with Ghostty terminal emulator

My favourite terminal emulator is Ghostty. And I really like edit.

But unfortunately edit is not working when I start it within a Ghostty emulator session.

Has anyonese else seen this behaviour?

I did report an issue over at the Ghostty repository. But I wanted to ask here in case anyone else have had the same exprience.
