Dear Trellis team,
my name is Stellan Joerdens. I’m a 3D artist and one of the co-founders of Trickroom.
Trickroom is a knowledge and workflow hub for AI in VFX. We’re not an AI generation platform and we don’t run tools directly. Instead, the focus is on visually documenting and sharing how AI tools and models are actually used in real VFX pipelines, alongside traditional techniques.
The motivation behind Trickroom is that while AI tools are evolving very quickly, it’s still difficult for professional artists and teams to understand how these tools fit into real production workflows. A lot of valuable knowledge currently lives in scattered posts, demos, or short examples. We’re trying to bring that knowledge together in one structured, visual place, focused on real-world use cases.
We think tools like Trellis are especially interesting in this context, as image-to-3D and AI-assisted asset creation are becoming increasingly relevant in VFX, previs, and asset workflows. Documenting how these tools are actually used in practice could be valuable both for artists and for teams building the tools.
We’re currently running a Closed Beta of the Trickroom Workspace, where users can explore and document workflows visually. If you’d like to take a look, you can access it here:

Closed Beta password:

We’re generally interested in connecting with AI tool teams to explore possible long-term collaboration ideas. This could range from documenting example workflows that include Trellis, to involving your team in shaping how these workflows are presented for professional users.
