I was just checking my email and realized Microsoft removed my account and deleted all of my extensions from the Edge Add-ons store two days ago with no meaningful explanation.

What started as 'please fix an issue' without explaining what the issue actually was; with one, then two extensions, quickly turned into 'we have removed your account and are deleting all your extensions.'

In summary:

Microsoft went from : 'We have a problem but we can't tell you exactly what is wrong' → 'Figure it out yourself by reading some vague policy' when asked for clarification → 'Read the policy again we can't tell you' → 'We really can't tell you what the issue is, you need to figure it out yourself' → 'We are deleting your account and all your extensions' including extensions that were never accused of violating any policy.

Losing the account is one thing. Deleting all published extensions and cutting off communication without actionable details is another.

Developers need clear policies, specific violation reports, and a real appeal process especially when years of work and users are affected overnight.

I am just documenting this here just in case another developer is experiencing the same issue: You are not alone
