DMX Merger using Arduino Mega 2560 #88
Description
A friend asked me if I could make him a DMX merger which I have done using aspects of this library, It was a one off project and uses usart 1 and usart 2 as inputs and usart 3 as an output. It uses dipswitches to select between modes. I have made a custom shield PCB for the Mega2560.
Dip switch 1 is universe 1 out only
Dip switch 2 is universe 2 out only
Dip switch 3 is Merge both universes and use Highest value
Dip switch 4 is Merge both universes and use lowest value
Dip switch 5 is Merge both universes and use latest value
I have not done any commenting as this was a quick one off but given the lack of any merger code out there in the public domain, you may want to have a look and see if it is worth making something off for others?
It can be used by loading your original library and then replacing the H and CPP files in src with the ones I have made. The syntax of the class is slightly different in the arduino sketch also.
