Hello,
After you solved the previous issue I reported (the moving of Activities after having been in the lockscreen), there is a new bug: the buttons stay in the bar.
In my configuration, I set the buttons to only appear when the current window is maximized. This setting gets ignored and the buttons are always there, even if I have no programs open or when the current application isn't maximized. Clicking on the buttons does work in for the non-maximized window, in case this helps you tracking the issue.
Thanks.
I'm on Gnome Shell 3.8.
