@ghirardinicola any way you could provide a sketch-up of what you mean? This library is designed to help users generate maps in a Jupyter notebook and optionally export the resulting HTML+JS to include in other web resources. Are you looking to create side by side maps?

I'm familiar with static subplots in Python. Since mapboxgl-jupyter is displaying JavaScript in a Jupyter cell, I'd like a little more detail on possible map layouts. Are you hoping the interactions with data layers in the maps will be linked in any way? If not, we could just develop a way to append additional maps to the template and handle placement with CSS.

I'm not looking at any linked interaction, "only" multiple dynamic maps on a grid
