Remote Play Whatever not working

I'm using the latest release of Remote Play Whatever (0.2.12) on Windows.
Whenever I invite a friend, the friend can join, but on the host his screen, it shows no one in the Remote Play lobby as shown on the image.

The other player has no input, even when the 'Please hold, input is temporarily disabled while the host is busy' disappears.

Steam's recent release kinda broke this, as evidenced with 0.2.11. If the game works natively with the controllers your friends are using, it should work just fine even when it doesn't show them in the window.

In my experience that doesn't work. The game knows how to use the controller he's using, but I as the host always had to enable controllers of other players as their input would default to keyboard and mouse. It doesn’t matter what game is choose, I always had to manually enable controllers for the client via the remote play window.

And the keyboard and mouse for clients don't work in the latest release. So clients end up with no input.

Same problem myself and a friend are having, it's a no go if they're using keyboard on the person joining the host, I had been using controller for Devil in Me hosting it and on their turn of the character they'd do keyboard in previous steam/remote play versions fine, but I don't ever even see them pop up.

In a weird occurrence the other day in Mortuary Assistant when they wanted me to try it out, it never showed me to them when they were hosting the remote play session, but I was able to beat it using a controller

I received the same issue. The player I'm streaming to doesn't appear as a player and cannot interact with the game through their controller, even though they can see the game perfectly fine.

Something seems to have changed, since the last time the program seemed to function properly was only a few days ago.

I dont think this is an issue with Whatever but just Steam/Together in general.
RN i cant even use Together with Isaac to invite anyone, its just showing this screen (even without Whatever running).
And trying to invite someone with Whatever either just crashes Whatever or makes Steam crash and Whatever and the Game non responsive.

Funnily enough yesterday i still could play with Isaac with Together normally, now this.
