module './package' not found on latest luvi? (commit/unstable)

Most of the info is on luvi#314. TLDR: The issue happens with lit.zip, but never with unpacked zip.
Alongside this, I also see this after every? command:

By latest luvi I assume you mean 2.15.0. What version of lit does this happen on (and is this with the lit.zip obtained from lit.luvit.io)?

lit is obtained from GH,or lit.luvit.io, ver 3.9.0 and 3.8.5.

This error is expected when obtaining lit by downloading it from GitHub; GitHub creates a zip file of the code as written, regardless of what lit dependencies it is missing. Lit needs all of its dependencies to function.

The lit.zip obtained from lit.luvit.io has those dependencies; I cannot reproduce this error with a lit.zip from lit.luvit.io.

I've now properly fetched the deps (just by lit install, right? right?) after a git clone, and it works! ... as long as I'm in a directory with rest of the source. Otherwise, I get something like this:

bundle:main.lua:26: module './package' not found:
        no file '/working_directory_here/package'
        no file '/working_directory_here/package.lua'
        no file '/working_directory_here/package/init.lua'
        no field package.preload['./package']
        no file './//package.lua'

This works fine with other projects. Also, "attempt to call a table value" is gone now.
It can also throw bundle:main.lua:27: module 'log' not found whenever it feels like it.
Something tells me that luvit-loader.lua is no longer compatible with master/unstable luvi.
I also created a simple project with luvit-loader.lua from here:

local bundle = require("luvi").bundle
loadstring(bundle.readfile("luvit-loader.lua"), "bundle:luvit-loader.lua")()

And indeed, I am getting the same issue.

I was able to replicate this, fresh luvi regular build:

I got the reproduction code down to

local uv = require 'uv'
local t = uv.new_tty(0, true)

coroutine.wrap(function()
        uv.walk(print)
end)()

uv.run()

This is a luv regression, likely introduced in the last luvi commit luvit/luvi@17c502d.

@nilFinx Beside this "attempt to call table" issue, the rest seems like you are doing something wrong? Can't replicate the rest of issues when lit is fetched properly.

Steps:

1. git clone ssh://git@github.com/luvit/lit
2. cd lit
3. git submodule update --init --recursive
4. luvi . -- ./ ./lit ./luvi

Worked every time I tried it, with the same "problematic" luvi build.

No more attempt to call a table value! (after cloning luvi and git pull origin master inside deps/luv)
Unfortunately, the original issue (package not found) still happens once I leave the lit directory, and call the compiled lit. It only works if I'm in the lit directory.
