Can you provide advice on how to use your host config for OP6?

I saw you had a commit pertaining to a flashable zip.

It is tiring to build and flash boot.img and system.img every time I want to update the kernel.

What might be the easiest way to detach this from your config and avoid relying on secrets?

Sorry, the enchilada configuration in my setup has been broken for quite a while, so I'm currently unable to provide help with that. This is also why I haven't contributed to mobile-nixos again for a long time.

As for the issue of having to flash boot.img every time, I think it might be possible to try using boot.loader.external.installHook to build and automatically flash boot.img (with dd) during nixos-rebuild boot/switch. However, I haven't implemented this for enchilada yet. Recently, I did something similar for a Chromebook device (https://github.com/linyinfeng/kukui-nixos/blob/main/modules/boot.nix) for kpart image flashing.

I am close to sweeping the edits to my Enchilada config under the rug. All I do is break it. Oof!

Hey, I want to work on my own config for a fajita (same kernel), is your kernel build broken, or boot? Would you recommend I copy the mobile-nixos kernel package or yours?

1. I will recommend mobile-nixos's modules and packages since they are designed for reuse...
   This repository is just my random dotfiles and does not mean to be used as a dependency.
2. The sdm845 kernel package in this repo should be working. The main difference compared to mobile-nixos is that it uses buildLinux from nixpkgs and the config from PostmarketOS.
3. But the whole configuration currently does not work due to a systemd unit order problem.
