I am sorry to beat the "dead horse". I looked at open and closed tickets, but I am not sure if I have similar problem or a new one. Here is Nemo capture:

For comparison, Krusader is OK, but Terminal has same issue:

This looks like maybe your locale isn't being used for sorting.

What is the output from locale in a terminal?

I can reproduce what you're getting with:

Open 'Languages' from the start menu, make sure those 3 buttons are set to English, United States, and click 'Apply System-Wide'

(If they're already set correctly, still press the button)

Then reboot.

For some reason I do not have Apply button. I already had all US selected. I reselected them again. Even if I would choose other Locale, I would not get Apply button:

I had this install earlier, upgraded from 22.2 -> 22.3. If I remember correctly, that issue was also present in earlier version.
