.deb packages are not upgradable

I cannot upgrade Cursor .deb package using captain.
To replicate:

• Download and install Cursor 2.6.18
• Download and attempt install Cursor 2.6.19

The error message states it breaks compatibilty with existing package. The alternatives:

• uninstall Cursor 2.6.18 first (very inconvenient); or just
• dpkg -i cursor_2.6.19_amd64.deb (works fine)
