Noisy output

I'm trying to create a folder using the standard command on macOS 26.3.1. Unfortunately whatever I do the icons are noisy.

Here is the original png I'm using as source:

I'm using the standard command: folderify images.png. prova

Here is the output I get:

Hmm, that image (at least as downloaded from the comment) works as expected for me. Perhaps try reinstalling imagemagick and its depdendencies?

same issue, noisy output

using svg and png both try twice to output, with same result, noisy icon in the folder.
reinstalled imagemagick and all version up-to-date.
