- Launch Compose Booster
- Press ⌘, (Cmd+Comma) to open Settings
- Paste the API Key above into the "OpenRouter API Key" field
- Click "Validate" to confirm the key is valid
- Click "Save"
- Enter any email text in the input area
- Click "Process" or press ⌘+Enter to enhance the email
- Use Quick Action buttons (⌘+1, ⌘+2, ⌘+3) for one-click improvements
- Switch between AI models in the dropdown menu
- Change tones and prompts in Settings > Tones/Prompts tabs
- Test copy-to-clipboard with the Copy button
The app uses OpenRouter.ai to access various AI models. In production, users provide their own OpenRouter API key (a "Bring Your Own Key" model). The app sends email text to the selected AI model via OpenRouter's API and returns the improved version. No data is stored on external servers beyond what's required for the API call.
