setup for 6 digits

How can I set this up to have seconds as well, like shown on Thingiverse? I am unsure of the changes that would need to be made to the code and how it would need to be wired up...

@ChopsKingsland There are no changes necessary to the code to do 6 digits vs 4 digits. With the 4 digit setup, there are just less LEDs wired up on the right side:

Okay, thanks. Also, is there a wiring guide for the PCB, so I can make it on a perfboard, as a PCB is quite costly in the UK?

The EAGLE files used to create the board are available to download at https://oshpark.com/shared_projects/qbrdUYXd. You should be able to use that to create your perfboard. Alternatively, you could also send the files to a PCB fab house of your choice, one that might be cheaper for your location.

I opened it in EAGLE, but the 5v/GND connections don't connect to the D1 or voltage regulator anywhere?

It's been a while since I've worked with this, but if I recall, both 5V and GND had large "planes" which ends up connecting to all the places that needed connections to them. That's why you don't see those traces--you might have to toggle some of the layers to see the planes.

OK I figured it out. In EAGLE, you have to click on the Ratsnest command on the left toolbar and then you can see the planes. Here is the top layer, which is mostly being used for 5V:

And here is the bottom layer, which is mostly being used for GND:

@leoclee I have made the board, and am now trying to upload the sketch to the D1 mini, but am getting the error call to 'HTTPClient::begin' declared with attribute error: obsolete API, use ::begin(WiFiClient, url)... I have encountered this error with other projects before, but was wondering if you know what version of WiFiClientSecure you used?
