NPM command failed git checkout 4.0

Hi
I have cloned the repository. But when running
npm install
I get this error:

npm ERR! Command failed: /usr/local/bin/git checkout 4.0
npm ERR! error: pathspec '4.0' did not match any file(s) known to git.

And, I do not know if this is an NPM or Bones error...?

UPDATE.
It looks like the installation of Gulp 4 have changed. This line in package.json is no longer working:
"gulp": "github:gulpjs/gulp#4.0"

I followed this thread at Stackoverflow to solve the problem. First removing all traces of Gulp and then installing the CLI globally.

It seems to have fixed the problem with npm install

Gulp v4 can be installed like this, directly from npm: npm install gulp@4

In my case, package.json pointed to the GitHub source:
"gulp": "git+https://github.com/gulpjs/gulp.git#4.0",

then something error, do you know why?

after installing gulp v4, my problem not solved, any help here
