Thai script question

I cannot actually find the characters for this author's name, except in images like the one linked below. However, I noticed that some roman characters are not transliterated, and some extraneous ะ characters are added to the transliteration. This romanization of the author's name seems like a common form and is found in the LOC catalog as well.

There is no longer a Roman-to-Script conversion for Thai. We were using Aksharamukha for both directions earlier, but it proved to be less reliable than the hand-written table we are using now. The current table does not have R2S because it's pretty much impossible to reliably transcribe many vocalized characters.

In theory we could use Aksharamukha for R2S, but I suspect that would have the same problem.
