Bug Description
My Amazon Builder ID was temporarily suspended due to unusual activity.
AWS Billing and AWS Support confirmed that my account is now unsuspended.
Amazon Q Developer works correctly on the web.
However, Amazon Q Developer in Visual Studio Code still shows:
"Your User ID is temporarily suspended."
I cleared VS Code cache, reinstalled the Amazon Q extension, re-authenticated, and rebooted.
The issue persists only in the IDE.
This appears to be an IDE entitlement not being re-enabled.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open Visual Studio Code
- Open the Amazon Q (Kiro) extension
- Sign in using Personal account (Amazon Builder ID)
- Type any message in the chat and send it
- Observe the error message indicating the User ID is temporarily suspended
Expected Behavior
Amazon Q Developer should respond normally in Visual Studio Code, the same way it works on the web interface.
