Problem

What problem should this solve?
For someone who is not used to freedom units it would help a lot to use metric units in the little legend at the bottom right of the app and throughout the app in general.

Proposal

Describe the proposed solution.
Either have an option for the units that should be used in the settings or try to infer it from the users browser preferences.

Acceptance Criteria

• Be able to see hight in meters
• Have an option to set the units the app should use

Additional Context

Related links, references, or constraints.
The aviation sector uses a wild mixture of units, but I would argue that most people using this app do not know what types of miles are used in which scenario.

Hey @andreas-taranetz , thanks for the suggestion and the offer to help! A metric toggle is a great idea.

You're more than welcome to take this on, but could you hold off on committing anything until we close #17? Just trying to avoid merge conflict hell.

Once that's merged, you're good to go.
