My name is Kenneth Meyer, I am a 4th year PhD student in the Oden Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences at The University of Texas at Austin. I'm working on developing Google JAX-based Finite Element software to simulate Mitral Valve closure and repair. I previously worked on a Neural Network Finite Element approach for contact mechanics, where we simulated the closure of an trileaflet heart valve in seconds. You can find my profile here.

In my free time, I enjoy playing scrabble, trying new food in Austin, and thinking too much about hockey. I volunteer as an Assistant Coach for the Texas Ice Hockey team. I obtained my B.S. in Computational Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 2022. While an undergrad at UT, I was involved with various organizations on campus including Code Orange, Silver Spurs, and The Tejas Club.
