Welcome! These docs exist for people who are curious about this setup and want to adopt pieces of it without already being deep into terminal-driven development.
What is this? This repository is a declarative macOS environment built around an Agentic Operating System. It combines traditional dotfiles (Fish, Neovim, Tmux) with strict AI governance. Instead of just installing AI tools, it provides LLMs with a unified context layer (MCP servers) and strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure they behave predictably.
They are written for:
- IDE-first folks (VSCode / JetBrains)
- People who want a repeatable macOS dev environment
- People who want to use this as inspiration for their own setup
If you are new to chezmoi, read the repository README.md first, then start here.
