Chromecast not available

I’m trying to cast Live TV, VOD, or series, but I keep getting the same error. I’ve tried using the server’s local IP and also tried accessing it behind a reverse proxy, but the result is still the same. Am I missing something? The container is running in HTTPS mode.

Try accessing via your LAN IP instead of 0.0.0.0

you actually need ssl certs too, eg from letsencrypt. did you set those up?

Yes, I set those up. Checked the logs also. The logs showed successful integration of the ssl certs

Sorry this will be hard to debug remotely. Fwiw, it works for me. Maybe you can try to use an LLM to help debug your specific setup then make a patch if you find the issue?

have you tried that? i assume it's outdated but maybe worth a shot.

and browser side also showed a secure connection?

Just a heads up: jellyfin/jellyfin#791 (comment) indicates this trick may not work any more
