Channels and EPG don't refresh automatically

When launching netv my live-tv channel list, VOD and EPG don't refresh at startup. They also don't ever auto-refresh. If I go to the settings page and manually click these 3 refresh buttons, then the info updates properly:

You're right. Currently it just loads from cached files on startup and the scheduler only refreshes EPG at the times you configure in settings. Live channels and VOD never auto-refresh unless you manually click those buttons.

Im going to close becuase i think its intentional--we'd rather have fast startups and just let the timer do the the refresh. For one-offs thats why the button is there.

I agree with closing. There is an EPG auto-refresh feature, but it wasn't obvious to me that it existed. The feature doesn't appear until after you've saved the source, and even then it defaults to "blank", so if you want it to auto-refresh then you need to manually add something there. I do think that when a source is added it should trigger a first time live/epg/vod data pull rather than making the user click those buttons.
