Activities not displayed in calendar

Schedule.fit is not integrated into the watch's calendar.
Activities are not displayed.
Is this normal?

Yes, this should work. Here's an example that I just loaded onto my watch a few minutes ago. Truth be told I've not really used the workouts on my watch for a couple of years now - I seem to have got quite lazy and unstructured in my training!

The app does try to stay within the limits of the watch, and so will only include future workouts, deliberately ignoring ones in the past, and I think the watch will only take approximately 30 of these, so for a long programme you need to re-send every month or so.

My old Fenix 3 was actually way better than the newer Fenix 7 for this and seemed to have larger limits, which seems kind of crazy. It's also possible that there is something not quite right in the FIT that the F3 was more forgiving of. I should perhaps do some more experiments in this area. To investigate this I'd normally build a schedule on the Garmin site and examine the FIT file that it creates versus one from my app to see if there are obvious bugs. If you happen to have a good one from Garmin that would be a useful reference for me.

What I typically do is use the Excel to iCal conversion so that I can see the calendar on my phone's calendar app. I only really used the watches "do today's workout" feature rather than the calendar view.

I've done a few more experiments. Here's what I've found:

The calendar screen on the watch appears to only show the next scheduled workout, after that are only entries from my (phone) calendar.

If you go into a workout and, before starting, click the middle left button, go to Training and then Training Calendar then you get to see the full list of scheduled items.

Given this, it looks like the Calendar widget isn't great for showing future workouts but the Training Calendar is. I'm guessing that I never noticed this before as I've typically had the workouts also loaded into my phone's calendar via the iCal conversion.
