It's just a discussion rather than an issue. I thought OpenSpreadsheet had a good premise of matching CsvHelper API style.

Yours is a bit different, but nobody has really developed a very powerful spreadsheet abstraction.

That looks like an interesting library indeed. What would be your idea of a "powerful spreadsheet abstraction"? SheetToObjects does the job for me in a couple of production systems, but it is very narrowly focussed on providing a fluent interface to basically mapping 2-dimensional sheet data into poco's.

Years ago I was friends with a guy, Matthew Cruickshank, who was a wizard with data grid accessibility/internationalization requirements. I had put together some ideas for that, as well.

I had some aspirations to create a powerful DSL for manipulating spreadsheets but I never had the time to work on it. See: https://github.com/jzabroski/DapperDoodle which mentions GemBox.Spreadsheet, which is a paid product.
