As far as I checked the linked topics they are already implemented in the actual 15.basv.csv?
I started with checking the few issues I had with basv and so far only the 2 topics I posted were not working.

The HMUX0 is a different story .. some elements are working and many not with the actual hmu. (I just changed the name to get it loaded)
Currently I'm stuck to get the LiveMonitor items up and running as e.g. ebusctl read -v LiveMonitorMain results empty and I have not yet figured out how to find out the change needed as I cannot find any traffic on the ebus related to this yet.

No, unfortunately not all of them are in the current (release) basv.csv, they are still in the PR state, i.e. requested to be merged with the main config. Somehow some PRs are sort of stuck since quite a few month.

OK, obviously the HMUX0 needs a revised CSV. The current 08.hmu.csv online contains entries that don't even work on my older split system (I ended up creating my own version). There have been efforts to update the HMU definitions (#472 and the follow-up #481), but the PR is currently not very active.

Maybe leaving with some questions:

• isn't there some central wiki page, summarising the insights from all the reverse engineering efforts of Vaillant ebus codes? like the most commonly used data types, known commands, known command enconding principles etc. It's pretty inefficient to distill this infomration from the csv files and the various discussion threads.
• What is the "LiveMonitor"?
• in the csv linked above ( https://github.com/burmistrzak/ebusd-configuration/blob/testing/outcsv/%40ebusd/ebus-typespec/vaillant/15.basv3.csv), what is the meaning/semantics of keywords like "install" or in another file i found "service" (both were in the "level" column which is otherwise empty in most cases?

isn't there some central wiki page, summarising the insights from all the reverse engineering efforts of Vaillant ebus codes? like the most commonly used data types, known commands, known command enconding principles etc. It's pretty inefficient to distill this infomration from the csv files and the various discussion threads.

I think you're there (here, I'm sure you've seen the ebusd Wiki and datatype overview.)... To my knowledge this is the most comprehensive assembly of this kind of information, albeit I must admit the knowledge is a bit "fragmented". With all the different devices it's not an easy task to keep track. And the HMUX0 message registers seems to differ from the previousHMU units. However, general concepts are likely to be similar.

What is the "LiveMonitor"?

It's a monitoring tool usually implemented in the VWL/VWZ indoor unit user interface showing current readings e.g. of compressor and circulation pumps (current pressure, heat pump modulation & electrical power, energy intergral etc...). These readings are also available via ebusd.

Access level of message. It is possible to restrict certain messages to users with higher privileges (Installer, Service, in german "Handwerkerebene").

Nice work. Interestingly, the b51a registers seem to be specific for the new HMUX0 series of heat pumps. Most of them don't work for the HMU00 series (e.g. older Arotherm split VWL 105/5 AS S2 with the VWZ00 hydraulic station VWL 127/5 IS), while the b509 registers seem to work on both. Also the diagnostic codes (Dxxx) are neither mentioned in the manual of the older hydraulic stations, nor can the be read from the unit itself.

Maybe we could document also here the scheme by which the b51a register addresses can be derived from the diagnostic code number (Dxxx) - just to preserve/share the knowledge for the non-german speakers?

Please bear in mind it is work in progress and not bullet proof but maybe it helps someone.

As mentioned before thanks to Oliver-H's post on a german forum!!!!
For the D000 to D599 Registers it is quite simple with the new HMUX0 Version (RunData I was not yet digging deeper into)
It always starts with "b51a" followed by "05ff3xyz"
Then for Dxyz the following rules
x: add 2 ... so for D000 to D098 x=0+2=2, forD100-199 x=1+2=3 and so on...
yz: the decimal value from the Handbook has to be converted to HEX

Example:
D367 .... x=3 yz(dec)=67 -> x=5 yz(hex)=43 ... I use Excel =DEC2HEX(67;2)
It seems there are always 4 Byte Definition of the Register in the D... Data
Therefore 08 b51a 04 05ff3 5 43
ebusctl hex 08b51a0405ff3543

In the answer you need to find the relevant Bytes - hope you can find the approach in the excel file self explanatory ;-)

I find it much easier to work in the csv files therefore in the excel I generate the respective content.

The only little issue I have is that °C will be copied as °C .... so you need to delete  ... have not found a solution to it yet so any hint is appreciated.
