File opens old version despite updated thumbnail

Describe the bug
My file opens old version despite updated thumbnail.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to Google Driver my Edge browser
2. Click on the drawings.io file
3. Scroll down to 'open with draw.io'
4. See error

Expected behavior
I expected to see the latest file that is matching what the thumbnail describes.

Screenshots
This is the thumbnail which shows the latest version

When opening the file, an older version (at least 10+ versions ago) is shown. The latest versions are missing from version history.

draw.io version (In the Help->About menu of the draw.io editor):

• draw.io version 29.2.4

Desktop (please complete the following information):

• OS: Windows 11, version 25H2
• Browser Edge
• Browser Version 142.0.3595.94 (Official build) (64-bit)

Smartphone (please complete the following information):

• Device: iPhone16 Pro
• OS: iOS26.1
• Browser Google Chrome
• Version 130.0.6723.90

I tested the problem in incognito/private mode with all browser extensions switched off, write "yes" below:

• yes

Additional context
This behavior is consistent across multiple browsers, including Edge, Google Chrome, and Firefox.

Same issue here… I really need urgent help, I lost a major piece of work.
I’m using browser version 29.2.6, on Edge.

Check the revision history in Google Drive. It sounds like Google Drive might have had a save problem.

Verifique o histórico de revisões no Google Drive. Parece que o Google Drive pode ter tido um problema de salvamento.

I checked the file’s revision history directly in Google Drive and downloaded three previous versions that, based on the timestamps, should already contain the changes I made, but it didn’t solve the problem… all of them opened as if no changes had been made.

I tried downloading the files from those versions and opening them in Draw.io in another browser, and also in the desktop version, and I had the same problem…

PLEASE help me!!

I’ve tried the same thing and I’m still facing the same issue. Ended up redrawing everything I lost. Get Outlook for iOS<https://aka.ms/o0ukef>

This situation is very difficult. I lost a very important project, which generated autosaves for more than three consecutive days in a stable manner. It does not seem impossible to recover if an effort were made. I am willing to pay for a solution.
