Code of Conduct

Our pledge

We, as maintainers and contributors of ProcessAce, pledge to make participation in this project a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of level of experience, background, nationality, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, personal appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, age, religion, or any other personal characteristic.

We are committed to creating a friendly, safe, and productive environment for everyone.

Our standards

Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment include:

  • Being respectful and considerate in all interactions.
  • Offering constructive feedback and accepting it gracefully.
  • Focusing on what is best for the project and its users.
  • Showing empathy towards other community members.
  • Helping newcomers and answering questions when you can.

Examples of unacceptable behavior include:

  • Harassment, discrimination, or derogatory comments.
  • Personal attacks or insults.
  • Public or private harassment.
  • Publishing others’ private information without explicit permission.
  • Deliberate intimidation, trolling, or disruptive behavior.
  • Any other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting.

Our responsibilities

Project maintainers are responsible for:

  • Clarifying and enforcing the standards of acceptable behavior.
  • Taking appropriate and fair corrective action in response to any behavior they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.

Maintainers have the right and responsibility to remove, edit, or reject:

  • Comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other contributions that are not aligned with this Code of Conduct.
  • Any other behavior they consider inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.

They may temporarily or permanently ban any contributor for behaviors that they believe violate this Code of Conduct.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all project spaces, including:

  • GitHub issues and pull requests.
  • Code reviews and comments.
  • Discussions, chats, or other communication channels linked from this project.

It also applies when an individual is officially representing the project in public spaces (for example, at conferences, meetups, or online events).

If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, or have any other concerns, please contact the maintainers at:

All complaints will be reviewed and investigated as appropriate.
The maintainers will respect the privacy and security of reporters and will handle reports as confidentially as reasonably possible.

Consequences

Maintainers may take any action they deem appropriate, including but not limited to:

  • A warning (private or public).
  • Temporary or permanent removal from project spaces.
  • Rejection or reversion of contributions.
  • Temporary or permanent bans from participation in the project.

This Code of Conduct is inspired by and adapted from the Contributor Covenant, version 2.1, with adjustments for the ProcessAce project’s context.
