Hi!
Thank you very much for making this guide!
I flashed the patched images to my device that came updated with firmware 4.1 out of the box. However, when I open the Magisk Manager, it gets stuck on the splash screen. Also, the actual su command gets stuck. When I have an app that requests Super User, I can successfully grant it (e.g. AdAway) but then nothing happens, and the app is not able to use the SU. It also happens when I try to run adb shell su whoami - the command simply hangs.
Is this a known issue? I will try to investigate this further myself on my own time when I get the chance, but putting this out here just in case.
P.S. I was able to restore the backup boot images and do a factory reset and the device is back to normal. No other symptoms or bugs, other than that Magisk Manager and SU can't run.
Thanks!
