I don't believe any API changes are required to support WebSocket over HTTP/2 and HTTP/3.

Although there is some wording in the specification and the javadoc which assume that a WebSocket upgrade request must use a GET http-method which is only true for HTTP/1.1, when using HTTP/2 or HTTP/3 the upgrade request will use the CONNECT method.

What about obtaining HTTP/2 and HTTP/3 stream information within the WebSocket session and underlying connection? The HTTP CONNECT method must be explicitly mentioned in the specification.
