usdz files with large size could not be imported into isaac sim 5.1.0

Question:
I have some usdz files generated by 3dgrut's ply_to_usd, but it could not be properly imported when i drag the usdz file onto IsaacSim Stage. Nothing could be displayed, and the Xform top node could not be expanded. Logs from terminal is just like below:

but the file named FQ8YA_Trimmed_3.usdz has memory with 2.70GB, its contents is just like below:

So, why it could not work well? Actually, I cannot get more suggestions and tips from IsaacSim output.

More description about the problem:
the log said Could not open asset @gauss.usda@ for reference introduced by @***.usdz@</World/gauss>, but the content of gauss.usda has correct structure when i check it twice. It seems the problem is caused by the large size of usdz file, does not IsaacSim 5.1.0 supports large size usdz?

Hi, There's no limit on the size of the usdz file that can be loaded by Isaac Sim. Since USDZ is a packaged format (essentially a ZIP archive), can you try extracting it and see if you can load the main USD file directly?

Hi, my .usdz file is generated from 3dgrut ply_to_usd. After extracting, I found all files generated from this way has content like below, the main USD file could not be found:

default.usda
[USDZ File Name].nurec
gauss.usda

More description:
i have two .usdz file generated by 3dgrut scripts ply_to_usdz those named A.usdz(1.17GB) and B.usdz(2.7GB). A.usdz could be imported into iSaacSim and i can see the scene, but B.usdz could not, it has nothing displayed.

Since you were able to import A.usdz successfully but not B.usdz, the reason might be:

1. There's issue with B.usdz, is B.usdz generated with the same options as A.usdz? To check if its' pure size issue, try to reduce its quality/resolution to verify.
2. The system runs out of memory when loading B.usdz, check with nvidia-smi for VRAM usage to verify.
