Plans to reintroduce GUI to force fields extension?

According to this thread, the GUI for force fields was removed. I don't understand why this happened. Force fields is an integral part of the work I'm doing. Is there a plan to reinstate the GUI?

Hi, I am sorry you're affected. ForceFieldAPI was removed from PhysX since Isaac Sim 5.0. There's no plan to bring it back.

Is there anywhere we may access the code so we may maintain it ourselves?

I don't think that's an option, the removed extension was a Kit extension, not part of the open sourced Isaac Sim codes, so the code is not accessible.
