Station validation - Low sampling instrument - validation convention: negative sampling is not passing the validation test

Hi
Does the station validator accept the sampling rate convention such as -900s and -15s
to signify resp. 1/900s and 1/15s sampling as opposed to 0.00111... and 0.0666... ?
