🎯 What
Refined the React UI layout in the /packages/desktop application to adopt a minimalist, flat, and borderless dark-mode aesthetic.

💡 Why
To improve the user experience by mimicking the cleaner interface found in modern desktop assistants like Claude Code or Cursor. This aligns the visual appearance with the user's explicit aesthetic preference.

Verification
Visually verified the changes using a Playwright script that navigated to the dev server and took screenshots showing the new clean layout. Ran pnpm test globally to confirm no regressions were introduced.

Result
The desktop application now features a cohesive flat grayscale theme, removing unnecessary drop shadows, borders, and rounded card containers.

PR created automatically by Jules for task 2380581035722403328 started by @iotserver24

Updated the `/packages/desktop` styling to mirror modern coding assistants (like Claude/Cursor).
- Adjusted `global.css` variables to use softer, grayscale dark background colors instead of harsh blacks, while keeping semantic colors intact.
- Removed borders from the app header and left navigation pane in `App.tsx` for a seamless layout.
- Flattened the chat input pill in `ChatPanel.tsx` and removed its external borders.
- Simplified message bubbles in `MessageBubble.tsx`, making user bubbles borderless with subtle text.
- Cleaned up the `ToolCallCard.tsx` design to act as a flat block rather than an outlined card.
