Drop jQuery?

IMO jQuery has nowadays no real benefit to native Javascript, but needs a decent amount of bandwidth and – more important – parsing time on client-side. Latter has more an impact on (slow) mobile devices.

With this it is also questionable whether

• classy is still needed.
• strict mode can be enabled
