PO: parts with different project codes get merged into single line

Describe the bug*

I need to buy at once the same part for two different project codes. But I can't because when I create another line of the same part but I assign another project code. It gets merged into the same line with only one project code.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Have at least 2 project codes in your instance
2. Create a new PO
3. Add a line item with project code n°1 (nimbus in this case), submit

4. Add another line item with the same part as before, but assign project code n°2 (phoenix in this case), submit

6. Notice the part merged into the same line but only kept project n°1

Expected behaviour

Have separate lines with each their individual project code

At the bottom of that form is a "merge items" checkbox - default is True:

Can you try with that set to false?

That was very obvious, I'm sorry. It works fine with "Merge Items" set to false

Is it possible to have it disabled by default ?

Edit: I mean a toggle in the system setting to change it's default state ?
