I get the below error
error: argument placeholderPath: invalid unicode_path value
Tim\xe2\x80\x99s iPhone.cloudf

I noticed that the comma is not the standard - does not look like it is handling UTF-8, any suggestions? I have a bunch of folder that are showing this way and they are not syncing when using odrive.py sync

I think this is a bug/deficiency in the odrive CLI itself. I would recommend making sure that all the paths are actually valid UTF-8, and if that doesn't help then batch-renaming everything you want to sync to eliminate everything not in ASCII, if it's only a smattering of non-ASCII characters. If you have a bunch of files named entirely in Japanese or something, you might need to wait for odrive to fix their tool.
