Distro maintainers

Hello All,

There was some suggestion to move to freedesktop.org so that more contributions and non Intel maintainers.

What all distro maintainer's think?

Not a distro maintainer - but we (Qualcomm) have just sent a PR to make thermald architecture-agnostic.

This would make thermald interesting on other platforms as well and perhaps attract more contributions.
