Code of Conduct

This project and community space is governed by a simple principle: be kind, be clear, be constructive.

We are a user-driven group working together to make Plex better through signal-boosted feedback. To that end, all contributors are expected to follow these standards of behavior.

🌐 Our Pledge

In the interest of fostering an open and welcoming environment, we pledge to make participation in this community a harassment-free experience for everyone. We are committed to making this space safe and respectful for contributors of all backgrounds and technical levels.

💪 Expected Behavior

  • Show empathy and kindness toward other people
  • Be respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback
  • Assume good intentions
  • Use inclusive and welcoming language

❌ Unacceptable Behavior

  • Hate speech, insults, or discriminatory remarks
  • Harassment, threats, or intimidation
  • Dismissive or toxic feedback (e.g., "this is stupid")
  • Posting irrelevant, misleading, or intentionally disruptive content
  • Personal attacks on individuals, moderators, or maintainers

⚖️ Enforcement

Reports of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be flagged in GitHub or brought to the attention of project moderators. We reserve the right to remove any content or contributors that do not align with this Code of Conduct.

This is a community effort. If you see something that doesn’t feel right, speak up—or support someone who does.

🙏 Thanks

Thank you for helping build a safe, thoughtful, and productive place to improve Plex together.
