Investigation: Non-Checker Hypotheses for OOM and Artefact Divergence

Goal: Progressively check leading non-checker hypotheses in issue #38 pending or following artefact recovery.

Tasks:

• If the original file resurfaces, design controlled tests for each hypothesis:
  • Recursive descent parser stack/recovery allocations
  • Recursive AST Drop / destructor traffic (coordinate with sibling Drop issue)
  • Debug vs. release, debug-info density, span-table/toolchain effects
• If not, use the reconstructed artefact as a baseline for as much comparison as possible.
• Summarize findings, file any follow-on sub-issues as appropriate.

Definition of Done:

• Each hypothesis checked and results reported or blocked-on-dependent subtasks.
• Follow-ups filed (if warranted).
