feature request: decouple refinery backend from collector backend

I'm guessing it's Refinery that wants the obscure libraries? zstd and libicui18n are the two (so far) that made it not "just work"

I want to use it for a collector, not for Refinery.
If those were separate, I could let the Refinery part not work.

Yes, the refinery sends its telemetry via zstd. I'm not sure about libicui18n, though. Installing it on Linux distributions do not seem to pose too much of a problem, but for MacOS, when zstd is installed, its directory for dynamic linkable library is not in the common location that zstd node package looks for, so needs additional symbolic linking to make it find it.

Hmm. yeah.. I mostly use collector part only too. I'll think about it.
